I understand that when you're having challenges in parenting or struggling to know what approach is best to support yourself and your child — it helps to find out more about what it feels like to work with someone. I value taking that time to connect and give you an opportunity to get to know what it feels like to work with me, ask questions, and find out more about my approach. I want to help you to know what to expect after you take the courageous and vulnerable step
to seek support. It's a beautiful thing to reach out for help and I always celebrate that.
To help ease any uncertainty, I want to make the process super clear.
Here are the steps you will take to find out if it's aligned to work with me. When you're ready to seek support for your family & are curious if play-based healing for your child or parent coaching with me is the best fit for your family, you will:
2. Fill out your intake form
Once your call is booked, I will send you an email so you can fill out an intake form before your call.
Before your consult, take some time to journal, sit with or get clarity around what specifically you and your family desire support with. Think about your family's current needs and challenges.
What have you already done to support your child and family?
What has worked and what has not yet worked?
What are your child's specific needs, unique qualities, superpowers, strengths, challenges, and areas of growth?
If you have any questions about the programs I offer or my approach to supporting parents and children, write those down so we can make the most out of our time together. I will happily answer your questions in the 30-minute consult.
Arrive at your consult during the time your call is booked. During the call, you will have the safe space to express any of the challenges you have had with your child or in parenting. I will listen, take notes and also ask you about your vision for your family beyond this (how you want to feel supported and desire for things to be moving forward). We will take time to help you have the clarity if being supported by me is aligned for you and your family. If aligned, I will recommend one of my programs and we will create a clear roadmap for how I will support you, your child and your family as a whole. If it is an aligned fit to work together, I will share the details of the program that will best meet your family's needs and next steps.
5. If you are a big YES to working together and moving forward with a program, your next steps will be:
Payment (paying invoice by credit card or by e-transfer, if in Ontario. Payments can be made prior to the program (in full) or through a payment plan set out prior to beginning the program.
Agreement form + Intake Form (filled out online).
Session dates (Confirm session dates and receive session reminders through Acuity which will include all zoom links).
6. Arrive and participate fully at your sessions
Be yourself. Let yourself be loved, accepted, and supported. PLAY! Have fun! Be real and say what you need to say. Ask your questions. Share your emotions. Let yourself be cared for. Allow yourself to be guided, in whatever way is needed and aligned for you, your child & and your family's growth and happiness! I am here for you all to thrive throughout the program and always want to make sure you feel supported in the ways you need and signed up for. I love to support your whole family's growth and I am committed to doing so!
To experience the greatest shifts and results throughout the program, continue to stay committed and communicate throughout your program.
